Ethiopian Airlines has resumed flights to the Sudanese capital Khartoum after a three-year suspension.

The service was stopped after Ethiopia accused Sudan of involvement in an asassination attempt on President Mubarak of Egypt during a visit to Addis Ababa.

The Ethiopian authorities believe the men who carried out the attack have been given sanctuary in Sudan and are still seeking their extradition.
