Iran has again warned the Czech Republic over plans to allow the United States to broadcast to Iran from Prague.

A foreign ministry spokesman in Tehran Mahmoud Mohammadi said the move was interference in Iran's internal affairs and could damage relations.

His comments came shortly after a Czech government spokesman was quoted as saying the Persian-language radio broadcasts were due to begin at the end of this month.

However, one report said the radio's director could neither confirm or deny the statement.
