The second largest opposition party in Slovakia, the Democratic Left, has approved the participation of ethnic-Hungarians in the future government, breaking the deadlock in four-party coalition talks.
The former Communists had been alone in opposing the inclusion of the Hungarian Coalition Party in government, following elections a month ago.
Democratic Left leaders say they now expect the coalition agreement to be signed before the first meeting of the new Slovak parliament on Thursday.
