Bollywood rolls in Luton

Thousands of fans of Asian cinema will get a chance to see new releases and classic movies at the second annual British Asian Film and Video Festival which is taking place in Luton just outside London.

Some of the stars of the screenwill also be there -- one the biggest attractions being an appearance by the movie legend Vyjayanthimala Bali.

Other events include a showing of the first Asian three-D film for children, and seminars and talks by film-makers.

One of festival organisers, Bhagwant Sagoo, says it's become an important cultural event for Asians in Britain and beyond.

The Asian film industry claims to be the world's biggest, dwarfing even Hollywood.

It's sometimes called Bollywood after its Bombay headquarters.
