Supporters of the investigation into Chile's former military ruler, GeneralPinochet are marching through the Spanish capital, Madrid, in a further show of support for his extradition to Spain to face trial.
The demonstrators, including trade unionists and human rights groups, carried banners denouncing the general as a dictator.
The Spanish judge in charge of the case has said General Pinochet's bank accounts in Switzerland and Luxembourg should be frozen and used to pay damages or fines ordered by the court.
The Chilean government has issued a formal request to Britain to set the general free.
Next week Spanish judges will decide if Spain has the authority to try a foreign national for crimes committed abroad.
