Weapons experts conclude Iraq/VX meeting

United Nations chemical weapons experts have ended their detailed examination of Iraqi missile parts to see if they were armed with the deadly nerve agent, VX.

Tests carried out by American experts earlier this year found traces of the agent, but further analysis in the US and in Switzerland found no sign of VX.

Tests by French experts were inconclusive.

Iraq has denied putting VX into any weapons.

The conclusive findings will be presented to the UN Security Council next week.
