The estranged husband of a Swindon College worker has appeared before magistrates accused of her murder.

Glyn Razzell, 42, was arrested by Wiltshire Police in Swindon on Wednesday.

His wife, Linda, was last seen on 19 March this year near Swindon College after parking her car.

Mr Razzell was arrested on Wednesday and questioned at Westlea police station in the Wiltshire town.

On Thursday, police said they had still not found the mother-of-four.

On the day she disappeared, she had been due in court to settle financial arrangements with Mr Razzell, her children's father.

She had dropped the children off at school and boyfriend Greg Worrall, 43, at work and had parked her red Ford Escort outside the college, where she worked.

Her mobile phone was later found abandoned in the alleyway.

Police divers called in to search a nearby lake found nothing.

The couple's four children - Catherine, 14, Matthew, 12, Emma, nine, and Robin, five - are being looked after by a cousin.

Mr Razzell was remanded in custody to appear at Bristol Crown Court on 24 May.
