Man in court over wife's murder
Linda Razzell
Linda Razzell was last seen entering an alleyway
The estranged husband of missing college worker Linda Razzell is due to appear in court after being charged with her murder.

Glyn Razzell, 42, was arrested by Wiltshire Police in Swindon on Wednesday.

Originally from Carmarthenshire, Mrs Razzell was last seen on 19 March this year, entering an alleyway near Swindon College after parking her car for work.

On Thursday, police said they had still not found the mother-of-four.

On the day she disappeared, she had been due in court to settle financial arrangements with Mr Razzell, her children's father.

She had dropped the children off at school and boyfriend Greg Worrall, 43, at work and had parked her red Ford Escort outside the college, where she worked.

Her mobile phone was later found abandoned in the alleyway.

Police divers earlier called in to search a nearby lake found nothing.

I can confirm that, at 1847 BST, Swindon police charged a 42-year-old Glyn Razzell with murder.

Mr Razzell was arrested and questioned at Westlea police station after new forensic evidence was uncovered.

A spokeswoman at Wiltshire Police said: "I can confirm that, at 1847 BST, Swindon police charged a 42-year-old Glyn Razzell with murder.

"He will remain in police custody until his appearance in court tomorrow morning."

The couple's four children - Catherine, 14, Matthew, 12, Emma, nine, and Robin, five - were being looked after by a cousin.

In April, the rest of Mrs Razzell's family at Llanybydder in west Wales had appealed for information about her disappearance.
