Newsnight's Jeremy Paxman

Thursday 16 May

Blair Interview
Tony Blair
The third and final instalment in our definitive series of interviews with Tony Blair examining his five years in power.

Jeremy Paxman asked the Prime Minister about his core beliefs, plans to take benefits away from the parents of truants, and how, as a committed Christian, he feels about his party taking money from a pornographer.

War on Terror
Dan Rather
Veteran US news anchor, Dan Rather, told Newsnight that American journalists, himself included, are afraid to ask tough questions about the War on Terror for fear of being seen as unpatriotic. And he complained about the Pentagon's new policy of preferential access to the military in Afghanistan to entertainment programmes rather than news reporters.

Newsnight can be seen on BBC Two at 2230 BST, or in real video, either live or on demand, by clicking on the latest programme button.
