Queen to meet Sven
Sven Goran Eriksson
The Queen will meet Sven Goran Eriksson
The Queen has arrived in Buckinghamshire on the second week of her nationwide Golden Jubilee tour.

Crowds have been gathering all morning in Aylesbury's Market Square to greet the Queen, who is due to meet stallholders at the traditional Greenfingers vegetable market.

She will later head to Marlow to unveil a bronze statue of Olympic rowing champion Sir Steve Redgrave before travelling by launch along the River Thames for another sporting appointment.

She is due to come face-to-face with England football coach Sven Goran Eriksson at the England World Cup squad's training camp at Bisham Abbey in Berkshire.

While in Aylesbury, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are due to chat to elderly and disabled people and their carers.

In Marlow, they will meet Sir Steve - who lives in the town - and other members of the Olympic team.

They will then depart in the Environment Agency launch MV Windrush upstream to Bisham Abbey to meet Mr Eriksson at the National Sports Centre.

They will also see more than 2,500 local children, including young players from the Reading Football Academy, practising on the England training pitch.

Royal officials said the day offered the Queen the chance to thank well-wishers for their support and loyalty during her reign and celebrate the achievements of young people.

On Thursday, the Queen was in the East End of London, where she congratulated West Ham's Joe Cole on his inclusion in England's World Cup squad.

The Queen has already visited the north-east and south-west of England.
