Mother bailed over baby deaths
Court
A woman charged with murdering three of her children and attempting to murder a fourth has been released on bail.

The 34-year-old woman from the Maidenhead area in Berkshire, appeared at Reading Crown Court on Thursday.

She is accused of killing two boys and a girl, who were all less than 12 months old, between 1997 and 2001.

The attempted murder charge relates to an incident in 1995 involving a child who is now seven.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was released on conditional bail until 28 June.

Magistrates agreed to bail on condition that she surrender her passport, and abide by a condition of residence.

Judge Stanley Spence also ordered a range of reports to be prepared before the next court appearance.
