Four rebels killed in Assam
Military officials in the northeastern state of Assam say the Indian army has killed four separatist militants.

Police said troops in Nalbari district killed two militants from the United Liberation Front of Assam ULFA in separate clashes.

And they said in another operation in Sonitpur district along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border two rebels of the outlawed National Democratic Front of Bodolandwere killed when troops ambushed the group's hideout.
