Four face terror charges
Glasgow Sheriff Court
The four men will appear in court on Thursday
Four men are expected to appear in court on Thursday in connection with alleged terrorist-related offences.

They were among six men arrested on Saturday in Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire, following a joint police operation.

Strathclyde Police, MI5 and the Metropolitan Police Anti-Terrorist Branch were all involved.

Strathclyde Police said the men had been detained under the Terrorism Act 2000 and charged with terrorist-related offences.

They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

It is understood they are suspected of moving small amounts of explosives and guns in connection with loyalist activity in Northern Ireland.

The other two men were released without charge.
