Bombay taxi drivers stage strike
More than 50,000 taxi drivers in Bombay have taken part in a one-day strike.

The city's transport system was badly hit, with thousands of workers having to rely on crowded buses and trains to get to and from work.

The drivers are protesting about a court order which says they must stop using diesel-powered vehicles and switch to the cleaner fuel, compressed natural gas.

The drivers say there aren't enough natural gas filling stations to cope with the number of taxis.

The authorities in Delhi have also been trying to reduce pollution from public transport and have ordered buses to convert to the cleaner gas fuel.
