Fire destroys Calcutta market
A huge fire has swept through a market in the Indian city of Calcutta, destroying up to 300 shops.

Officials said the fire spread quickly but many of the shops were closed when it broke out late Tuesday and no casualties have been reported.

At least 30 fire engines were brought in to tackle the blaze, which devastated part of Calcutta's central business district.
