S Korean opposition attacks Kim
The opposition in South Korea has launched a political offensive against President Kim Dae-jung over corruption allegations, including some involving his sons.

The opposition Grand National Party called for President Kim to transfer control to a neutral emergency cabinet, so he could take responsibility for investigating all the corruption scandals involving members of his administration.

A spokesman for the ruling South Korean Millennium Democratic Party described the opposition campaign as irresponsible, saying it should wait until the official investigation results were published.
