Stars of the small screen were out in force for the 2002 Bafta TV awards, which took place on 21 April at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Eastenders scooped the best soap award for the BBC
As usual, Hollyoaks actresses provided much of the glamour
Sir Michael Gambon's fourth award was sealed with a kiss
Sheila Hancock arrived with her daughters Joanne (left) and Melanie
Julie Walters won for the Liverpool-set drama My Beautiful Son
Graham Norton won best entertainment performance for his outrageous chat show
Louis Theroux received his award from newsreader Kirsty Young
