Man charged over woman's death
Murder scene
The woman was killed at a popular beauty spot
A man has been charged in connection with a heavily pregnant woman found hacked to death at a beauty spot.

David Cullinane, 34, a self-employed director from Rectory Close, Colchester, Essex, has been charged with her murder.

Mr Cullinane will appear before West Kent magistrates sitting in Tunbridge Wells on Thursday.

The victim was discovered on 16 March in Forestry Commission land at Dene Park in Shipbourne, a picturesque village near Tonbridge, Kent.

Police appealing for help to identify the woman described her as African-Caribbean or mixed race, up to 40 weeks' pregnant, and with a distinctive American Indian tattoo on her right shoulder.

A Kent Police spokesman said she was believed to be Soumia Es Semryry Cullinane, although official identification is not yet complete.
