Megawati begins official visit to India
The Indonesian President, Megawati Sukarnoputri, is to meet Indian political leaders in Delhi on the last stage of a four-nation tour of Asia.

Mrs Megawati will be holding talks with Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee as well as the leader of the opposition Congress party, Sonia Gandhi.

The main aim of her visit is to strengthen economic ties between the two countries, but she is also expected to discuss terrorism, and the American military presence in Asia.

The leader of the world's most populous Muslim country will go on to visit Bombay, and the high-tech city of Hyderabad in southern India, before returning home on Friday.
