Pakistani president's first visit to Afghanistan

The Pakistani President, Pervez Musharraf, is making his first visit to neighbouring Afghanistan since the fall of the Taleban.

For many years, Pakistan was one of the few nations which supported the former Taleban regime.

President Musharraf will hold talks in Kabul with the head of the interim Afghan government, Hamid Karzai.
