Falkland Islands

It was twenty years ago this week, when thousands of Argentine troops invaded the long disputed Falkland Islands and proclaimed sovereignty.

It sparked a war with Britain which was to last 74 days and claim one thousand lives.

To mark the anniversary Breakfast has spoken people who's lives were changed by the conflict.

In the first of our series, a Falklander, Graham Bound, who was in Port Stanley on the day of the invasion, recalls the events of that 10 week period in 1982

He recalls the fear as Argentinean troops invaded.
