Teenager dies after fall

Police say the death is being treated as suspicious
Three teenagers are being questioned by police after a 17-year-old fell to his death from a fourth-floor window.

Cleveland Police said the youth, who has not been named, died when he fell from the property in Church Street, Hartlepool.

A police spokesman the incident was being treated as suspicious.

Detectives have also appealed for witnesses to come forward.

The incident occurred close to a pub called The Royal at 2230 GMT on Saturday.

The spokesman added: "The police would have expected the area to be busy at this time.

"We are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to contact the incident room."

Three youths aged between 15 and 19 are helping police with their inquiries.
