What the Scottish Sunday papers say
What the papers say graphic
The death of the Queen Mother is the dominant story in Scotland's newspapers on Easter Sunday.

The Sunday Mail reports that the Queen Mother passed away in her sleep on Saturday afternoon.

The Queen Mother died at the age of 101, The Observer reports.

Scotland on Sunday states "Queen Mother is dead" and notes the fact that the Queen was at her bedside.

The Prince of Wales, Prince William and Prince Harry were said to be "completely devastated" after hearing of the death while skiing in Switzerland, reports The Sunday Post.

The Sunday Herald chooses the headline "So Adieu Ma'am" and says simply that the Queen Mother died peacefully in her sleep.

Of course, there is coverage of stories beyond the Queen Mother's death.

"Hell on Earth" is a headline from The Sunday Herald in reference to a suicide bomb in Tel Aviv as the Israeli, Palestine conflict deepens.

The Sunday Express says that American intelligence services have warned that Arab fanatics may be planning a terrorist attack on the Pope at his traditional Easter appearance in St Peter's Square.

The News of the World carries the story about 16-year-old Gemma Dowler wanting her little sister Amanda back and plans to spend every second this Easter praying for her return.
