Three killed in landmine explosion in Rajasthan

Officials in the western Indian state of Rajasthan say at least three people have been killed in landmine explosions along the border with Pakistan in the past two days.

One civilian was killed and three people were injured in one explosion in Bikaner.

And two Indian soldiers were killed in a blast in Barmer district. Unconfirmed reports say another two people died in this explosion.

A number of similar incidents have taken place in the state since the Indian army's recent build up along the border with Pakistan.

Last week, at least nineteen soldiers were killed in the border district of Jaisalmer in a landmine explosion.
