In pictures: The last train
The only rail link between India and Pakistan has been severed after 25 years, bringing to a halt all direct contact between the people of the two countries.
 It was the end of the line for the oldest trans-border rail link in the subcontinent
 The link has been cut by India as part of its diplomatic offensive against Pakistan
 Rising political tensions have affected civilians on both sides of the border
 Emotions welled up as passengers boarded the last train for Delhi
 But there is still some hope amid the mounting military tension
