What the Scottish papers say
The Scotsman reports that the safety of cloning has been called into question after the creators of Dolly the sheep announced she is suffering from arthritis.
The broadsheet also writes that ScotRail has cancelled 500 daily services next week following action by drivers over pay. The Daily Record reports that train passengers are facing a "nightmare return to work next week" because of a dispute over rest days and overtime. The paper also writes that Gail Porter and husband Dan Hipgrave "were spotted rowing in the street". The Scottish Sun writes that a fireman was rushed to hospital after a brawl with a colleague - over a Playstation. The tabloid also reports that a teenager risked being shot by police after she brandished a pistol at them. |
