Landmine explosion kills Indian soldiers
Officials in India say 19 soldiers have been killed in an accident involving landmines near the country's border with Pakistan.
It is not clear whether they were laying mines at the time or were undergoing training to defuse them. The incident happened near a border post in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
