Inquiry into Boxing Day 'death pact'
Map of Dinas, Pembrokeshire
Dyfed-Powys Police believe a couple found dead at a west Wales farmhouse may have carried out a suicide pact.

The couple were found at the isolated farm on Boxing Day and have been named by police as Richard Baker, 54, and his wife Susan, 55, of Felindre Farchog, near Newport.

A gun was found near their bodies and their deaths are not being treated as suspicious.

A police spokesman confirmed a call was received from the farm at approximately 0900GMT on Boxing Day.

Ballistics experts

"We are still not completely clear as to what happened and we are awaiting the completion of pathology reports," said the spokesman.

Their bodies were taken to Withybush Hospital, in Haverfordwest, and post mortem examinations have been carried out.

A Home Office pathologist and ballistics experts were called to the 40-acre farm to examine the scene.
