Teenager charged with rape
A teenager has appeared in court with raping a woman in her home in north Belfast in the early hours of Boxing Day.
In the dock was Darren Murdock, 18, from Manor Street in Belfast. He was also charged with assaulting the woman, who is in her 30s. A detective told Belfast Magistrates Court on Thursday that when the accused was charged the previous night, he replied: "I'm really, really sorry." He was remanded in custody until 4 January. |
