No fine for cheeky Robbie
Robbie Williams
Robbie Williams kept his clothes on at the Albert Hall
Pop star Robbie Williams has not been fined for flashing his bottom at a concert in Singapore last week, contrary to the pop star's claims.

Williams told 17,000 fans in Thailand on Wednesday that he was fined £4,000 for baring his behind at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday.

A Singapore police spokesman told Reuters that it was not true and that they had no record of the incident.

The singer is currently on a world tour and will soon be heading out to Australia and New Zealand.

His claims claim did not stop the star doing a repeat performance for the Bangkok crowd, showing his bottom again before singing one of his hit numbers.

Williams is not known for being a shy type and had no qualms about auctioning a pair of his underpants for charity earlier this year.

The pants - with a tiger's head on the crotch - went for £4,200 at Sotheby's.

The singer recently performed a Sinatra-style concert for a black tie audience at the Royal Albert Hall.

He was joined on stage by actress Jane Horrocks, US star Jon Lovitz and his own flatmate Jonathan Wilkes.

'Real thing'

All of the above appear on his new Sinatra tribute album, Swing When You're Winning, which will be released on 19 November.

Williams duetted with Sinatra's voice for a version of It Was A Very Good Year while he recorded songs for the album in Los Angeles earlier this year.

Another famous contributor is Moulin Rouge star Nicole Kidman, who duetted with Robbie on another Sinatra classic, Something Stupid.

Williams's autobiography, Somebody Someday, was published in September. Robbie told online retailer Amazon that "it is 100% the real thing - in fact it's about as real as it gets".
