Pakistani detainee dies in US prison
Prison authorities in the United States say a Pakistani man arrested in the wake of the 11 September attacks on New York and Washington has died in his prison cell.
An official said that 55-year-old Muhammed Butt had died of a pre-existing heart condition. The official said that Mr Butt had been put in custody on the order of the Immigration and Naturalisation Service and was awaiting deportation when he died.
