Singapore election result in the bag
Singapore's governing People's Action Party (Pap) has again won the general election before a single vote was cast. When nominations closed for the election on 3 November, the Pap found itself unopposed in 55 of the 84 sets. The party has governed Singapore since independence, with opposition parties never gaining more than four seats. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
