Singapore election result in the bag

Singapore's governing People's Action Party (Pap) has again won the general election before a single vote was cast.

When nominations closed for the election on 3 November, the Pap found itself unopposed in 55 of the 84 sets.

The party has governed Singapore since independence, with opposition parties never gaining more than four seats.
