Man charged over powder in parcel
A postal worker in Liverpool
Specialist teams have been called out to a series of scares
A man has been charged under the malicious communications act after a package with white powder in it was found at a Plymouth sorting office.

The 43-year-old man from Bodmin in Cornwall was charged following the discovery on Monday.

A room at the post office building in Plymstock was sealed off while the area was checked.

A total of 75 workers had to be evacuated and postal deliveries were disrupted.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall police said the substance was tested, and found to be "of a domestic nature and harmless."
