Angolan refugees moved in Zambia

The United Nations Refugee Agency has begun to transfer several thousand Angolan refugees in Zambia from the border region to a camp inside the country.

About 4,000 people fled to Zambia last week following renewed fighting between Angolan government forces and Unita rebels.

A spokeswoman for the refugee agency, Delphine Marie, said it hoped to complete their transfer by the end of the week.

There are already about 200,000 Angolan refugees in Zambia.
