Publicity battle
	In the face of reaction ranging from scepticism to hostility in much of the Muslim world to the US's self-proclaimed "war against terrorism", a new appointment has been made by President Bush. He has made Charlotte Beers the new under secretary of state for public diplomacy. The BBC's Nick Ravenscroft reports.
