| Jack Straw said the United Nations must be at the forefront of creating a new government in Afghanistan and the international community must provide long-term support. In a speech at the International Institute of Strategic Studies in London, he said Afghanistan must be run by the Afghan people. The BBC's Bridget Kendall reports.
