Two men have escaped injury in a shooting incident in County Down.
A hooded gunman fired two shots as one of the men was getting out of a car at the rear of Mountcrescent in Downpatrick. The incident happened at about 0930 BST on Saturday. The men were not injured but the car was damaged. Police say the gunman then ran off to a waiting vehicle. Detectives in the town are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
