Explosives found in US bus station
Breaking News
There has been a major scare at a bus station in the US city of Philadelphia after the discovery of a suitcase containing plastic explosives.

Employees of the city's Greyhound terminal found the suitcase while looking through unclaimed luggage.

The suitcase contained 150g of C-4 explosives, which police said was enough to blow up the whole terminal.

But they said that there was no danger of an explosion as no detonation cap had been attached to the explosives.

The explosives were neutralised and removed, and the station re-opened several hours after the discovery.

Police are checking for clues as to who left the suitcase.
