SA Muslim vigilantes get 30 years

A court in South Africa has sentenced two members of a Muslim vigilante group to 30 years in prison for bombing a police station near Cape Town three years ago.

The two men, Faizel Waggie and Ismael Edwards, belonged to the People Against Gangsterism and Drugs group.

They received 15 years each for bombing the police post and another 15 years for attempted murder.

The South African authorities have accused the vigilante group of carrying out a series of bomb attacks over the past few years.
