Driver dies in road accident
A male driver has died following a road traffic accident in County Armagh.

He was Thomas Clowes, 54, of Braemar Avenue in Lurgan.

The accident happened on the Dromore Road, Ballymacateer, near Lurgan at about 0830 BST on Friday.

The collision involved two cars. The road was closed for a time and the female driver of the other car received cuts.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the accident.

They want to speak to anyone who was travelling between Dromore and Lurgan at the time of the accident to contact them.
