| The world's economies were shaken in the aftermath of the terrorist on 11 September and there are fears that there will be long term economic implications. But how serious is that threat ? Dr DeAnne Julius is a full-time independent member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England and from 1993-1997 she was the Chief Economist of British Airways. Kevin Watkins is a senior policy advisor for Oxfam. He believes that the 11 September attacks are creating an economic disaster for developing countries. |
