Blast kills Colombo forensic officer
Police in Sri Lanka say one person has been killed in an explosion at a government laboratory in the capital Colombo.

The forensic officer, Anusha Perera, was killed as she opened a package containing an explosive device sent to her department for tests.

An official said the package seemed to have been sent without due care.
