Burundi peace concert held

Nearly 10,000 people have attended a concert given by Burundian singer Kidumu in what correspondents say is the biggest singing event ever held in the Burundi capital.

Kidumu, who now lives in Kenya, is renowned for his songs of peace.

The mayor of Bujumbura welcomed the concert, saying it would help to bring peace to the country - which has been involved in civil war since 1993.
