Gunmen kill five in Algeria

Gunmen in Algeria have killed five members of the same family - including four children.

Three others were injured in the attack at a home in Ouled-Djillali in eastern Algeria.

The four children who died were aged between five and 15.

No one has claimed responsibility for the killing but correspondents say it is most likely to have been carried out by Islamic militants who have waged a nine-year campaign of violence in Algeria to try to topple the military-backed government.
