Czech nuclear plant reopened

Czech radio says the controversial Temelin nuclear power station has been restarted after being shut down for more than three months.

The head of the Czech nuclear safety office said that if everything went well, the reactor would be reconnected to the public grid by Wednesday.

Last month, the Czech government rejected a call from Germany to close Temelin.

It's suffered a series of technical problems since it began operating last October.
