Omagh families seek compensation |

| Families of the Omagh bomb victims have launched a High Court action seeking compensation against men allegedly linked to the group that carried out the atrocity. The dissident republican group the Real IRA carried out the bombing in the County Tyrone town on 15 August 1998. The attack killed 29 people, and injured hundreds of others.
