Chinese aid for Pakistan port
China and Pakistan have signed a deal in which Beijing will give Pakistan $200m in aid for two major building projects.

The money will go towards the construction of the first phase of the sea port of Gwadar in Baluchistan and the Makran coastal highway.

The agreement was signed by the Pakistani finance minister, Shaukat Aziz, and the Chinese minister for foreign trade and cooperation, Shi Guangsheng.
