Police reveal more riot-suspect photos
suspected rioters
These are some of the suspects from the Bradford riots
Detectives have released more photographs of youths suspected of taking part in last month's violent clashes in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police released 20 photographs of youths they believe took part in rioting in the city on 7 July.

Police have already released dozens of images of suspected trouble-makers and further appeals are planned.

Officers are also monitoring airports in case some suspects attempt to flee the country.

Together we need to make sure these people have no hiding place

Detective Inspector Tony Craven
Detective Inspector Tony Craven said: "Together we need to make sure these people have no hiding place - we can only do that with the public's help.

"The people of Bradford can continue to play a vital role in this investigation and we hope they will continue to support us by calling in with information."

Mr Craven said officers would continue to monitor all ports and airports in case some suspects tried to leave the country.

Pakistan contact

Mr Craven said: "We will maintain contact with our colleagues in Pakistan.

"I believe one or two may have gone, or may want to leave the country."

A total of 58 people have been arrested in connection with the disorder and the incident room has received more than 800 responses in the form of telephone calls and e-mails.

In the latest batch of photographs 19 of the youths are Asian and one is white.

Racial insults

Last month's violence was sparked by an Anti-Nazi League demonstration in Bradford against the National Front.

Trouble flared after a group of white youths left a pub and began shouting racial insults at the crowd.

Later in the evening the trouble moved to Manningham, on the outskirts of the city, where petrol bombs were thrown at police and burning barricades were set up in White Abbey Road.

Violence also flared on the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, but not on the same scale.

Damage caused during the rioting has been estimated at more than £20m.
