Seven die in storm off Vietnam

At least seven fisherman are now thought to have died in a violent storm off the southern coast of Vietnam.

The Vietnamese authorities say more than 100 boats were sunk off the southern province of Ca Mau.

Most fishermen on board the vessels managed to swim to safety or were rescued by bigger boats.

Compensation has been paid to some of the families of those who died.
