31 killed in Indonesia
There has been more violence in the Indonesian province of Aceh.

At least 31 people are reported to have been killed in an attack on the palm oil plantation where they worked.

Police officers said separatist rebels were responsible for the massacre, but a spokesman for the Free Aceh movement Amri Abdul Wahab said the Indonesian military had carried out the attack in reprisal for an assault on a security post.

The rebels have for the past 10 years been waging a separatist campaign in which more than 6,000 people have been killed.
